This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee the product management and commercialization of MSD offerings.
• Analyze industry and customer trends to identify customer needs.
• Create comprehensive product specifications for upcoming products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product vision and strategy.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, including forecasting, pricing, and transitioning to new products.
• Assess product performance, market dynamics, and customer demands to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Work closely with R&D to outline product requirements and specifications.
• Assist in creating marketing materials and training resources for product launches.
• Keep track of the competitive landscape for products and product lines.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Assay Development, Quality, and Operations.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in product development and commercialization within the Life Science Research or Clinical sectors.
• Strong understanding of product management best practices.
• A proven history of success in positioning, managing, and marketing Life Science products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of immunoassay principles.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical prowess.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work beyond standard business hours.
