This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish the product vision and strategic direction, ensuring it aligns with company goals and customer requirements.
• Clearly communicate the business rationale and customer value for every initiative or feature.
• Act as the recognized authority on the product, the market, and the competitive environment.
• Convert product strategy into actionable steps, deciding what to develop and when to launch it.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive development roadmap for internal teams and a high-level overview for executives and customers.
• Collect insights from customers, internal stakeholders, and market research to inform the roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure that delivery aligns with market demands and quality expectations.
• Gather and organize ideas from customers, sales, and internal stakeholders for the product backlog.
• Prioritize features by balancing user value, development effort, time to market, and competitive advantages.
• Monitor and assess product performance, including feature adoption, customer satisfaction, and factors influencing churn/renewals.
• Conduct trials, pilots, and MVPs to validate assumptions prior to broader launches.
• Engage in continuous market and competitor research.
• Collaborate internally with engineering, sales, marketing, partner success, support, implementation, finance, legal, and the leadership team.
• Interact externally with customers, end-users, and partners for feedback to ensure the product meets real-world requirements.
• Advocate for the product through training, sales enablement, webinars, and direct customer engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO) are advantageous.
• At least 5–7 years of experience in a Product Management capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing aspects of the product development lifecycle.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Excellent skills in cross-functional team collaboration.
• Outstanding writing and presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Aha! Product Management software.
• Understanding of software engineering concepts, including APIs, databases, and cloud technology.
• Experience with Call Center software, including ACD, IVR, and AI bots.
• Proven experience utilizing AI tools to enhance product workflows, such as requirements generation, research synthesis, and drafting user stories. Knowledge of AI-native or spec-driven development (SDD) practices is a plus.
