
Product Manager, Guest Discovery – Homepage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Direct the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the discovery needs of all primary business verticals (e.g. Homes, Services, Experiences, International) as well as new initiatives (e.g. Hotels, Luxe, Partnerships).
• Oversee the creation of new discovery features and content formats that stimulate core guest engagement and booking growth.
• Integrate the latest AI technologies and relevance models to enhance Airbnb’s browsing experience.
• Partner with marketing teams to broaden Airbnb’s discovery strategy within our lifecycle and growth marketing campaigns.
• Develop the product narrative and marketing approaches that effectively communicate the advantages and features of these products both internally and externally.
• Formulate product roadmaps and foster alignment among product teams (Tech, Design), cross-functional partners (FP&A, Marketing, Global Operations, Customer Experience, Trust, etc.), as well as the Leadership/Executive team.
• Motivate teams, leadership, and the organization to champion the success of your products and business results.
• Cultivate in-depth expertise on the subject matter through user research, marketplace data, and insights into the competitive landscape.
• Establish goals and success criteria with clearly defined measurable objectives and key results.
• Execute efficiently to launch products and achieve significant impact for our business and users.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management.
• Proven experience in creating product messaging and delivering it to customers and the media.
• Established record of fostering alignment among cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
• Experience in managing consumer products with marketplace dynamics on a global scale.
• Entrepreneurial experience in transforming ideas into reality.
• Strong capability to effectively utilize data and conduct business analysis to inform product strategy and decisions.
• Enthusiastic about driving execution across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to engage in individual contributor product management tasks.
