📋 Description

• Establishes and enforces departmental processes and best practices among team members.

• Ensures that team members possess the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to execute their assigned deliverables.

• Responsible for measuring both individual and team productivity.

• Conducts ongoing career development and performance evaluations for team members, in addition to the annual performance review process.

• Manages the 12-month prioritized and thoughtful product roadmap along with the associated feature-level backlog.

• Aligns the team around the delivery of high-value business outcomes.

• Researches and identifies emerging market and technology needs to shape the market roadmap and foster innovation and differentiation.

• Utilizes data to validate roadmap prioritization and proposed solution developments.

• Ensures the correct problems are being solved and that they are worth addressing.

• Develops deep expertise in business domains, users, and clients to pinpoint product and market opportunities.

• Acts as the subject matter expert for assigned products and markets.

• Employs AI-assisted tools and techniques throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including discovery, research synthesis, opportunity sizing, roadmap planning, prototyping, and delivery, to enhance product quality and speed to value.

• Leads AI-informed product discovery by collaborating with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases, validate customer issues, and evaluate the feasibility, risk, and impact of AI-enabled solutions.

• Oversees AI experimentation and prototyping efforts to validate assumptions, measure outcomes, and guide roadmap decisions prior to full-scale investment.

• Works cross-functionally to ensure AI solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices and corporate policies.

• Guarantees that appropriate human-in-the-loop decision-making, explainability, transparency, and monitoring are taken into account in AI-enabled product features where applicable.

• Uses data, analytics, experimentation results, and AI-generated insights to continuously assess product performance, inform prioritization, and optimize outcomes.

• Documents requirements in the form of user stories, translating business needs into technical specifications to create a shared understanding with Engineering teams.

• Validates the team’s product and engineering artifacts (Requirement Documents, Build Tasks, Visual Collaboration documents, design documents, etc.) to ensure upfront identification of risks related to value, viability, feasibility, and usability.

• Takes part in annual and quarterly release planning activities, steering direction and prioritization for each quarter.

• Implements strong time management and planning to ensure adequate time is allocated for work to progress through the product lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, design, and architecture.

• Acts as the product owner for the scrum team, planning the team's work and resolving in-sprint issues.

• Functions as a decisive prioritizer, utilizing a product prioritization framework to maintain a consistently prioritized roadmap and backlog while balancing client and stakeholder needs.

• Conducts necessary backlog maintenance to support health, such as identifying escalated feature or bug requests and preparing them for upcoming sprints.

• Serves as the primary contact for the team regarding clarification of requirements and leads the team’s refinement ceremony.

• Performs functional testing and confirms sprint demos to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to align with transparent strategic long-term roadmaps and ensure delivery of the agreed-upon product outcomes.

• Partners with marketing and operations to provide market and product responses to RFIs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in technology, business, liberal arts, science, or engineering.

• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management, including ownership of a product roadmap and the facilitation of Agile processes.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Business acumen to identify opportunities, facilitate strategic planning, and leverage data and storytelling to influence decision-making.

• Ability to reconcile short-term needs with long-term strategies.

• Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and scrum team members.

• Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) across all organizational levels.

• Experience overseeing all or some phases of the product development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile team environment.

• Previous GRC experience is highly preferred.
