Product Manager – Emerging Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement the product roadmap for AI data delivery functionalities, with an initial emphasis on MCP and potential opportunities across agents, LLMs, and AI-enhanced experiences.

• Convert product strategy into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release schedules.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, technical feasibility, business priorities, and delivery limitations.

• Collaborate with Engineering throughout the development, testing, and release phases.

• Provide secure and scalable capabilities that enable AI platforms, agents, and products to utilize Lightcast data.

• Specify requirements for MCP functionalities, AI data accessibility, orchestration workflows, agent interactions, and associated AI data delivery experiences.

• Assess emerging AI technologies, standards, and delivery methodologies.

• Work together with Security, Legal, Data, and Product Leadership on security, governance, licensing, customer usage rights, and responsible AI standards.

• Collect feedback from customers and partners and convert insights into product improvements.

• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Solution Engineering to validate requirements and facilitate adoption.

• Establish success metrics and track usage, adoption, customer feedback, and post-launch performance.

• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and handle delivery risks, trade-offs, and obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management delivering software products.

• Practical experience with AI integrations, agentic technologies, LLMs, MCP, or other emerging AI technologies.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with Engineering teams in Agile development settings.

• Extensive background in developing product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and release plans.

• Ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs among various stakeholders and conflicting priorities.

• Experience in creating technical product documentation, implementation instructions, integration requirements, and support materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong grasp of AI product delivery and the capability to translate complex technical concepts into clear materials for customers and internal stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred experience in delivering data products, platform functionalities, enterprise data solutions, or technically intricate software products.

• Preferred experience with enterprise data delivery, AI data access, AI tools, or AI-enabled workflows.

• Familiarity with AI governance, data security, privacy, licensing, and responsible AI practices is preferred.

• Preferred experience using product analytics, adoption metrics, and customer feedback to inform improvements and strategy.
