This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and take ownership of the digital product strategy for online insurance distribution and servicing.
• Translate business objectives into a clear product roadmap that aligns with goals for growth, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to broaden digital channels, including aggregator platforms, direct-to-consumer models, and embedded insurance.
• Drive enhancements in quote-to-bind processes, emphasizing conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Optimize digital funnels across web, mobile, and partner ecosystems.
• Lead experimentation efforts such as A/B testing to continually enhance acquisition performance.
• Design and implement scalable self-service capabilities, including policy management, claims initiation, endorsements, and renewals.
• Reduce service costs through automation and the implementation of intelligent workflows.
• Improve customer experience by creating seamless omnichannel journeys.
• Define and monitor KPIs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Utilize data to prioritize backlog items and guide product decisions.
• Collaborate with data science teams to integrate personalization, pricing insights, and predictive modeling.
• Manage the product backlog and partner closely with engineering teams using agile delivery methodologies.
• Convert business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
• Work in collaboration with underwriting, distribution, marketing, operations, and compliance teams.
• Align senior stakeholders on roadmap priorities and necessary trade-offs.
• Serve as the “voice of the customer” in internal discussions.
• Ensure all digital journeys adhere to regulatory requirements in relevant markets.
• Collaborate closely with compliance and risk teams to integrate controls within digital processes.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of digital product managers.
• 5–10+ years of product management experience, preferably in insurance, fintech, or digital platform sectors.
• Strong experience in digital acquisition funnels and/or high-volume transactional products.
• Demonstrated success in delivering customer-facing digital products at scale.
• Comprehensive understanding of digital distribution models, including aggregators, direct, and embedded approaches.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in leveraging data to inform decisions.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of insurance products, including personal lines, SME, or specialty lines.
• Understanding of the policy lifecycle, encompassing quote, bind, service, claims, and renewals.
• Awareness of pricing, underwriting, and regulatory constraints.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
