
Product Manager – Data Enablement and Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Take ownership of the roadmap for data enablement, customer communication platforms, and eMarketing tools across marketing requirements, lifecycle functions, and emerging conversion scenarios.
• Convert complex data requirements from marketing and business partners into straightforward product specifications that engineering can implement.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to pinpoint deficiencies in data availability, data quality, and segmentation capabilities, translating those deficiencies into backlog tasks.
• Outline use cases, features, requirements, and acceptance criteria for communication platforms, which include notifications, content management, and campaign tools.
• Spearhead cross-functional projects that bridge marketing, technology, and lifecycle teams, providing structure to ambiguous challenges and fostering alignment among stakeholders.
• Utilize sound judgment to evaluate risks and create well-organized, data-informed narratives for leadership.
• Assess product and platform performance while establishing metrics that represent both technical health and business value.
• Oversee vendor relationships for third-party platforms, such as communication vendors and CMS tools, which are essential to the product surface.
• Foster effective communication across marketing, engineering, and operations, translating strategy into actionable steps and keeping stakeholders updated on timelines, obstacles, and results.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in software Product Management.
• Proven experience managing data products or data enablement projects, with a solid understanding of data flow, consumption, and how to enhance its utility for business stakeholders.
• Experience with marketing technology platforms, including customer communications, CMS, campaign management, or notification systems.
• Ability to seamlessly transition between high-level strategy and detailed execution, comfortable drafting a one-pager for leadership as well as acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Outstanding communication skills: listening, writing, presenting, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong integrity and the drive to consistently pursue the best possible product.
• Proven ability to self-motivate, self-direct, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
