External Contractor – Mentor, Data Product Manager Track

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide technical assistance to students through an online community forum.

• Address inquiries related to course content within the forum and support students who encounter challenges in their learning process.

• Conduct one weekly live virtual session to deliver direct, real-time assistance to students.

• Guide learners to suitable support channels and escalate issues to the Mentor Operations team when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Eligibility Criteria: Mentors must possess a minimum of 7 years of industry experience or hold a master’s degree in a relevant field.

• Technical expertise in Statistical Foundations, Data Wrangling, Visualization & Storytelling, Product KPIs, Data Pipeline, Data Modeling & Storage, a strong grasp of Experiment Design (including A/B Testing and Multivariate Testing), statistical inference, product management frameworks (e.g., RICE, Iterative Design), Product Development, Rapid Prototyping, User-Centered Design, Product Strategy, Go-To-Market Strategy, and basic SQL knowledge.

• Graduation from a Udacity Nanodegree Program is a bonus.

• Experience in teaching technical concepts, public speaking, or organizing technical discussions and webinars.

• Possess a positive demeanor, earning students' trust and fostering emotional connections within the group.

• Availability at their current job to undertake this opportunity part-time as an external contractor.
