
Product Manager β Data and Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Explore the less obvious aspects: delve into utility portals, renewable energy data, system configurations, tariff structures, and customer requirements.
β’ Gain expertise in the data provided by each utility: understand the available information and how we integrate this data into our product features.
β’ Create detailed, implementation-ready integration specifications that provide engineers with sufficient information to build efficiently, including critical edge cases.
β’ Collaborate with engineering during the development process, facilitating standups, addressing inquiries, and managing Jira to ensure development progresses without hindrance.
β’ Validate that the data delivered aligns with the specifications before considering an integration complete.
β’ Actively safeguard the current integration surface area: troubleshoot issues with live integrations, investigate failures or gaps, and prioritize necessary fixes with the engineering team.
β’ Work alongside Data Operations to recognize recurring data quality issues and drive long-term improvements, rather than just temporary solutions.
β’ Maintain the backlog for integration enhancements and bug fixes for the engineering team.
β’ Act as the company's subject-matter expert on our integrations and the data generated from them.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with utilities and third-party partners to collaboratively resolve integration challenges.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders, such as sales and customer success, to prioritize our integration roadmap.
β’ A strong intellectual curiosity and initiative. Must be proactive, not reactive. A self-starter who seeks out answers instead of waiting for direction.
β’ Technical proficiency in all types of data integration, including ETL and various data formats encountered in practice.
β’ A proven history of fulfilling commitments, not just making promises.
β’ Recognized for producing specifications that engineers can utilize and documentation that aids operational guidance.
β’ Proficient with AI tools to enhance data validation, automate workflows, and facilitate rapid prototyping.
β’ Experience in the utility or energy data domain: billing, tariffs, metering, renewable energy, and utility portals.
β’ Must currently reside in the United States and possess the legal right to work in the United States.
β’ A minimum of three years of experience in a product role for a SaaS platform that aggregates data from multiple third-party systems.
