This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Explore the less obvious aspects: delve into utility portals, renewable energy data, system configurations, tariff structures, and customer requirements.

β€’ Gain expertise in the data provided by each utility: understand the available information and how we integrate this data into our product features.

β€’ Create detailed, implementation-ready integration specifications that provide engineers with sufficient information to build efficiently, including critical edge cases.

β€’ Collaborate with engineering during the development process, facilitating standups, addressing inquiries, and managing Jira to ensure development progresses without hindrance.

β€’ Validate that the data delivered aligns with the specifications before considering an integration complete.

β€’ Actively safeguard the current integration surface area: troubleshoot issues with live integrations, investigate failures or gaps, and prioritize necessary fixes with the engineering team.

β€’ Work alongside Data Operations to recognize recurring data quality issues and drive long-term improvements, rather than just temporary solutions.

β€’ Maintain the backlog for integration enhancements and bug fixes for the engineering team.

β€’ Act as the company's subject-matter expert on our integrations and the data generated from them.

β€’ Build and nurture relationships with utilities and third-party partners to collaboratively resolve integration challenges.

β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders, such as sales and customer success, to prioritize our integration roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A strong intellectual curiosity and initiative. Must be proactive, not reactive. A self-starter who seeks out answers instead of waiting for direction.

β€’ Technical proficiency in all types of data integration, including ETL and various data formats encountered in practice.

β€’ A proven history of fulfilling commitments, not just making promises.

β€’ Recognized for producing specifications that engineers can utilize and documentation that aids operational guidance.

β€’ Proficient with AI tools to enhance data validation, automate workflows, and facilitate rapid prototyping.

β€’ Experience in the utility or energy data domain: billing, tariffs, metering, renewable energy, and utility portals.

β€’ Must currently reside in the United States and possess the legal right to work in the United States.

β€’ A minimum of three years of experience in a product role for a SaaS platform that aggregates data from multiple third-party systems.

🏝️ Benefits

β€’ The position offers a competitive salary.

β€’ Stock options are available.

β€’ 401(k) matching.

β€’ Comprehensive health plan.

β€’ Vision and dental coverage.

β€’ Life insurance and disability insurance.

β€’ Generous parental leave.

β€’ Flexible vacation policy β€” we encourage you to take the time off you need to remain happy and productive.
