This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +16 more states.
• Create and expand a product-focused community: Design and initiate a structured community program that aligns with product and business objectives.
• Assess, choose, and deploy the suitable community platform.
• Set up advisory councils, product councils, beta groups, and early access cohorts.
• Cultivate and enhance engagement across Slack, Discord, LinkedIn, Discourse, Circle, and other emerging platforms.
• Promote high-quality discussions that yield valuable product insights.
• Represent the community's voice within the Product organization.
• Convert qualitative feedback into organized, actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to influence prioritization.
• Maintain efficient feedback loops on new features and iterations.
• Clearly communicate roadmap updates and product decisions back to the community.
• Act as a product advocate within the community.
• Conduct live demonstrations, roadmap previews, AMAs, office hours, and onboarding sessions.
• Generate enthusiasm around product development rooted in tangible progress.
• Enhance user activation, feature adoption, and retention.
• Assist in expansion through product knowledge and education.
• Rapidly develop prototypes, AI-driven workflows, and light experiments to test ideas in real-time.
• Utilize AI tools to quickly create mockups of features, workflows, and product concepts.
• Collaborate with users during live discussions to validate hypotheses.
• Ensure community insights lead to measurable product and revenue outcomes.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a similar role, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing online communities, preferably in startups, SaaS, or the venture ecosystem.
• Proficient in sourcing and implementing community platforms.
• Experience hosting webinars, AMAs, office hours, and user meetups.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and a desire to use AI tools to quickly create demos, mockups, and experiments.
• Comfortable conducting live software demonstrations.
• Capable of transforming ambiguous or convoluted feedback into structured product insights.
• Thinks in terms of systems and outcomes rather than solely engagement metrics.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and build from the ground up.
• Resourceful, hands-on, and focused on execution.
• Naturally aligns community initiatives with business impact.
• Excellent communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
