This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the team to develop solutions that address finance, billing, and other financial services at Remote.
• Take ownership of the complete experience, not just software implementation: Remote adds value through a combination of services driven by both human effort and technology.
• Lead the development of complex solutions independently, without needing support or involvement from senior product team members.
• Manage internal expectations effectively for intricate projects, products, and features while making challenging prioritization decisions.
• Guide Remote towards success by creating a robust roadmap and strategy for your area of the Finance product.
• Decompose strategic initiatives into near- and mid-term objectives that are easily understood by others.
• Ensure your product roadmap aligns with the broader departmental and company goals we aim to address.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your designated product area.
• Contribute to the scaling and growth initiatives for your product area.
• Deliver enhancements quickly and iteratively, pushing yourself and colleagues to identify minimal solutions to challenges.
• Support and lead a product team that consistently achieves high throughput and high return on investment.
• Comprehend key business KPIs and align your team's efforts and metrics to enhance these aspects directly.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to create solutions for significant complex challenges.
• Foster internal and external communication and collaboration.
• Contribute to the Product organization by sharing your methodologies, processes, and insights.
• Promote the work of your team and articulate its significance to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Operate asynchronously and transparently.
• Take the lead on solutions with minimal support from senior product team members, being capable of working independently on straightforward features and iterations, only seeking assistance for complex issues.
• Engage in tactical and strategic decision-making for your business area.
• Evolve into a subject matter expert on understanding, articulating, and addressing complex business challenges related to our mobile experiences.
• Previous experience as a product manager in billing/invoicing or a related field, preferably within a high-growth company.
• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code or similar tools, with the ability to independently build, debug, and ship functional prototypes or minor code adjustments using AI tooling, beyond just writing specifications.
• Excellent judgment in making both strategic (prioritization) and tactical (feature scope) decisions.
• Proven, self-directed results that have positively influenced a product's trajectory.
• A strong passion for developing seamless and effective products, even when faced with complex challenges.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly across various departments (e.g., business operations, sales, etc.) to meet essential business requirements.
• Proficient in English, both in writing and speaking.
