Product Manager, Billing Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the strategy for a significant product area within Finance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and design teams to pinpoint critical issues and design iterative solutions.

• Create solutions for finance, billing, and other financial services at Remote.

• Manage the comprehensive experience across both human-driven services and software.

• Independently lead complex solution initiatives.

• Set and manage internal expectations for intricate projects, products, and features.

• Formulate an effective roadmap and strategy for the Finance product domain.

• Decompose strategic plans into near- and mid-term objectives.

• Ensure alignment of the product roadmap with departmental and organizational challenges.

• Act as the subject matter expert in the product area.

• Contribute to scaling and growth initiatives.

• Deliver enhancements rapidly and in an iterative manner.

• Support a high-throughput, high-ROI product team.

• Comprehend business KPIs and align team efforts and metrics to enhance them.

• Work in collaboration with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.

• Share techniques, methodologies, and insights across the Product organization.

• Communicate and advocate for the team’s contributions to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Operate asynchronously and with transparency.

• Participate in both tactical and strategic decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a product manager in billing, invoicing, or a related field, preferably within a high-growth organization.

• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code or similar AI coding tools.

• Capability to independently build, debug, and deploy functional prototypes or minor code modifications using AI tools.

• Strong strategic and tactical judgment regarding product decisions.

• Proven, self-motivated results that have positively influenced product direction.

• Enthusiasm for developing seamless and effective products that address complex challenges.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across various departments.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

• Experience in a remote working environment is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently on straightforward features and iterations while solving intricate problems with minimal support.
