This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate with the team to develop solutions addressing finance, billing, and other financial services at Remote.
• Take ownership of the complete experience, not just software implementation: Remote provides value through a combination of human services and technology.
• Lead complex solutions independently, without needing support or involvement from senior product team members.
• Effectively manage internal expectations for intricate projects, products, and features while handling challenging prioritization decisions.
• Guide Remote in the right direction by creating an efficient roadmap and strategy for your area within Finance.
• Translate strategic plans into clear near and mid-term goals that are easily understandable by others.
• Ensure your product roadmap aligns with broader departmental and company-wide issues we aim to address.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in your product area.
• Contribute to scaling and growth initiatives for your product area.
• Deliver enhancements rapidly and iteratively, pushing yourself and colleagues to identify minimal solutions to challenges.
• Support and lead a product team that achieves high throughput and significant return on investment.
• Comprehend key business KPIs and align your team's efforts and metrics to directly enhance these indicators.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to develop solutions for critical complex issues.
• Engage in internal and external communication and collaboration.
• Contribute to the Product organization by sharing your techniques, processes, and insights.
• Advocate for your team's work and its importance to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work asynchronously and maintain transparency.
• Lead initiatives with minimal support from senior product team members, demonstrating the ability to work independently on straightforward features and iterations, seeking assistance only for complex issues.
• Participate in both tactical and strategic decision-making within your business area.
• Evolve into a subject matter expert capable of understanding, articulating, and addressing complex business challenges related to our mobile experiences.
• Previous experience as a product manager in billing/invoicing or a similar field, preferably at a high-growth company.
• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code or similar tools. You should be capable of autonomously building, debugging, and deploying functional prototypes or minor code changes utilizing AI tools, rather than solely writing specifications.
• Strong judgment in making both strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions.
• Proven, self-motivated results that have positively influenced a product's trajectory.
• A strong enthusiasm for crafting seamless and effective products, particularly when addressing complex and intricate challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across various departments (e.g., business operations, sales, etc.) to ensure we meet critical business needs.
• Proficient in English, both in writing and speaking.
