This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Collaborate with the team to develop solutions addressing finance, billing, and other financial services at Remote.
• Take ownership of the entire experience, not just software implementation: Remote provides value through services that integrate both human and software elements.
• Lead complex solutions independently, without needing support or involvement from senior product team members.
• Effectively manage internal expectations for intricate projects, products, and features while handling challenging prioritization decisions.
• Propel Remote forward by establishing an effective roadmap and strategy for your section of the Finance product.
• Deconstruct strategic plans into clear near- and mid-term goals that are easily understandable by others.
• Align your product roadmap with broader departmental and company challenges we aim to address.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in your product area.
• Contribute to scaling and growth initiatives within your product domain.
• Rapidly and iteratively implement improvements, pushing yourself and colleagues to devise minimal solutions to challenges.
• Support and lead a product team focused on delivering high throughput and significant return on investment.
• Understand key business KPIs and align your team's efforts and metrics to enhance these indicators directly.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to devise solutions for significant complex issues.
• Communicate and collaborate both internally and externally.
• Contribute to the Product organization by sharing your methods, processes, and insights.
• Promote and communicate your team's work and its importance to both customers and internal teams.
• Operate asynchronously and transparently.
• Lead solutions with minimal guidance from senior product team members, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously on simple features and iterations, seeking support primarily for complex issues.
• Participate in tactical and strategic decision-making for your business area.
• Evolve into a subject matter expert in understanding, articulating, and resolving complex business challenges related to our mobile experiences.
• Previous experience as a product manager in billing/invoicing or a similar role, preferably at a high-growth company.
• Proficient in Cursor and/or Claude Code or similar tools, with the ability to independently build, debug, and deploy functional prototypes or minor code modifications utilizing AI tools, rather than just writing specifications.
• Excellent judgment in making both strategic (prioritization) and tactical (feature scope) decisions.
• Proven, self-directed outcomes that have positively influenced a product's trajectory.
• A strong passion for creating seamless and effective products, even when faced with complex and intricate challenges.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly across various departments (e.g., business operations, sales, etc.) to ensure that critical business requirements are met.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
