This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Take ownership of the Billing product area roadmap, its outcomes, and prioritization; outline quarterly objectives and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement robust billing systems (focusing on accuracy, idempotency, retries, monitoring, incident response, and clearly defined ownership boundaries).
• Enhance revenue protection and customer experience through dunning processes, recovery from failed payments, refunds, and handling dispute/chargeback-related workflows (when relevant).
• Create and maintain comprehensive billing domain documentation, including data models, event flows, edge cases, and operational run-books.
• Conduct discovery sessions with internal teams (GTM & Product Analyst) and customers to identify pain points and opportunities; convert insights into well-defined PRDs and actionable delivery plans.
• Establish and monitor key Billing KPIs (such as failed payment rate and recovery rate).
• Lead the execution of antifraud strategies: set priorities and success metrics; collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to implement real-time protections, monitoring/alerting, and fraud-response capabilities, continuously refining rules based on observed patterns.
• 4–7 years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 1–2 years overseeing a technically complex domain.
• Strong comprehension of payment processing, payouts, fee structures, refunds/chargebacks, multi-processor configurations, and reconciliation processes.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate with engineers on backend/system design trade-offs and to deliver reliable platform functionalities.
• Proficiency with data: defining metrics, developing measurement plans, and utilizing analysis to prioritize tasks and assess impact.
• Exceptional written communication skills and structured thinking; adept at transforming ambiguity into actionable plans.
