This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.
• Take ownership of the roadmap, outcomes, and prioritization for the Billing product area; set quarterly objectives and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop robust billing systems focused on accuracy, idempotency, retries, monitoring, incident response, and well-defined ownership boundaries.
• Enhance revenue protection and customer satisfaction through processes related to dunning, failed payment recovery, refunds, and handling disputes or chargebacks (when applicable).
• Create and update documentation for the billing domain, including data models, event flows, edge cases, and operational run-books.
• Conduct discovery sessions with internal teams (GTM & Product Analyst) and customers to identify pain points and opportunities; translate insights into clear PRDs and actionable delivery plans.
• Establish and monitor key Billing KPIs (such as failed payment rates and recovery rates).
• Lead the execution of the antifraud strategy: set priorities and success metrics; collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to implement real-time protections, monitoring/alerting systems, and fraud-response capabilities, while continuously refining rules based on observed patterns.
• 4–7 years of experience in product management, with at least 1–2 years managing a technically intricate domain.
• Profound knowledge of payment processing, payouts, fee structures, refunds/chargebacks, multi-processor configurations, and reconciliation processes.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate with engineers on backend/system design trade-offs and to deliver reliable platform functionalities.
• Proficient with data: setting metrics, establishing measurement plans, and leveraging analysis for prioritization and impact evaluation.
• Excellent written communication and structured thinking skills; adept at transforming ambiguity into actionable plans.
• Strong sense of ownership, discipline, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
