Product Manager – Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance the BaaS platform roadmap for 3-, 6-, and 12-month periods.

• Establish product direction to facilitate a 30% increase in active BaaS partners.

• Develop and expand the BaaS API and partner ecosystem.

• Design and manage partner onboarding processes, including API documentation, SDKs, sandbox environments, and integration support.

• Identify and mitigate technical bottlenecks and integration challenges.

• Collaborate with Engineering on multi-tenant architecture, scalability issues, and integration capabilities.

• Transform partner feedback and market opportunities into product initiatives and prioritize the roadmap.

• Lead the discovery process, API documentation, and ensure architectural alignment with Partner Success.

• Deliver scalable solutions that drive revenue and enhance partner lifetime value.

• Be accountable for partner satisfaction, successful integrations, and BaaS channel revenue metrics.

• Work alongside the Delivery Manager and Engineering Lead to execute the roadmap and ensure SLA compliance.

• Align Sales, Compliance, Operations, and Finance on partner-facing capabilities and commercial models.

• Organize monthly reviews for partners and internal product discussions.

• Assess third-party integrations and partnerships, including payment processors and KYC/AML service providers.

• Broaden API-first banking capabilities across accounts, cards, payments, and compliance tools.

• Facilitate partner success through technical enablement, comprehensive documentation, and community engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in BaaS, API platforms, or fintech settings.

• Solid experience with Banking-as-a-Service or API-first financial platforms.

• Understanding of multi-tenant architecture, partner ecosystems, and complexity of integrations.

• Technical expertise in system architecture, APIs, integrations, and scalability.

• Ability to engage in discussions regarding technical trade-offs and constraints with engineers.

• Experience in managing products or platforms that are partner-facing.

• Knowledge of partner lifecycle, onboarding processes, and success metrics.

• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.

• Ability to evaluate partner adoption, integration success, and revenue impact.

• Proven experience in creating and managing structured roadmaps that align with business objectives and partner requirements.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum settings and coordinating cross-functional deliveries.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.

• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in fintech/banking, including KYC, AML, licensing, and data residency.

• Nice to have: background in engineering or early technical career experience.

• Nice to have: experience in scaling high-transaction platforms.

• Nice to have: experience in fintech scale-ups or rapidly growing environments.

• Nice to have: exposure to open banking, PSD2, or API-first banking models.

• Nice to have: experience with payment rails like SEPA, SWIFT, card processing, and instant payments.

• Nice to have: previous experience launching or scaling a BaaS platform from 0→1 or 1→10 partners.
