This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the external product narrative by crafting positioning, messaging frameworks, and demonstration strategies that effectively convey the value of Sapio’s platform across ELN, LIMS, and CMC workflows.
• Lead and execute impactful product demonstrations for potential customers, partners, and at industry events, customizing content for various audiences — from bench scientists to C-suite executives.
• Serve as a strategic link between product management, sales, and marketing, ensuring that go-to-market activities are rooted in product realities and insights from customers.
• Possess extensive domain knowledge in CMC, Bioanalysis, Bioprocessing, GMP Manufacturing, and QCLIMS, along with a solid understanding of biologics and the broader life sciences sector, to effectively engage with scientific and regulatory stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Product and the executive leadership team to ensure that external messaging aligns with product direction and overall company strategy.
• Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, integrating feedback from demonstrations, customer discussions, and market signals into actionable insights for products and positioning.
• Work alongside sales on RFP responses, proof-of-concept initiatives, and strategic account support where product expertise and demonstration skills are necessary.
• Develop and maintain a library of demonstration environments, use-case scenarios, and customer-facing materials that accurately showcase the platform’s capabilities.
• Contribute to product marketing initiatives, including content creation, conference presentations, webinars, and preparation for customer advisory boards.
• Regularly engage with the executive leadership team and the CEO, providing clear, confident, and commercially savvy insights regarding market positioning and customer feedback.
• Demonstrated experience in a product management or product marketing role within a life sciences software organization, with a strong focus on external and customer-facing interactions.
• In-depth knowledge of ELN and LIMS products, with the ability to engage credibly with scientists, lab managers, and IT stakeholders regarding these platforms.
• Solid understanding of CMC, Bioanalysis, Bioprocessing, GMP Manufacturing, and QCLIMS processes, with preferred experience in biologics and the biotech/pharma development pipeline.
• A strong product marketing perspective, with the capability to convert complex functionalities into compelling value propositions and customer narratives.
• Proven experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including executive leaders. Comfortable interacting with a CEO, bringing presence, preparedness, and commercial insight.
• A history of delivering high-quality product demonstrations that advance deals and instill customer confidence.
• Experience working in both scale-up and corporate environments — able to navigate the dynamics of a growing company while managing large enterprise accounts.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, encompassing written, verbal, and visual formats. Ability to simplify complex ideas for clarity.
