Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with fellow product managers, stakeholders, and customers to refine and advance our product roadmap while defining innovative new features for our SaaS employee performance management solutions.

• Work closely with our Product Development team, engaging in our agile/scrum development process and leading grooming sessions for the product backlog as well as upcoming sprints and releases.

• Report directly to the Senior Product Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software product management with a commercial product, ideally in a SaaS environment.

• Demonstrated success in leading AI-powered product development from initial concept to launch and ongoing iteration, particularly involving both conversational AI experiences and embedded, insight-driven AI features.

• Previous experience as a product manager and product owner in an agile/scrum development setting.

• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers on product features.

• Familiarity with JIRA (or a similar issue management system) for managing epics, stories, and backlog.

• Experience in a startup technology company, ideally related to a SaaS offering.

• Experience working within a team of product managers.

• Experience overseeing the development of extensions and integrations for a core product to other platforms.

• Bonus Points:

• MBA, preferably with a focus on Entrepreneurship or Technology Management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or prior software development experience.

• Practical knowledge of querying NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.

• Prior product management experience with an HRIS or employee performance management product.

• Previous experience managing a product’s public API offering.

• Experience with product analytic platforms, specifically PostHog.
