This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Embark on an exciting journey as a Product Manager for NEC Housing, where you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering innovative products for the Social Housing community.
• Conduct market research to gain insights into legislative, regulatory, competitive, and economic landscapes, as well as evolving market drivers.
• Become the authority in your product area, capable of addressing queries from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Engage with customers through co-design workshops, User Group sessions, and meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sector and how it shapes customer requirements.
• Define business needs and objectives of customers, aligning them with product strategy to ensure NEC Housing products and solutions meet or surpass customer and market expectations.
• Develop business cases to outline market uptake, pricing strategies, and margin analysis.
• Identify any third-party requirements necessary to fulfill user needs.
• Collaborate and manage requirements with third-party suppliers, systems integrators, or other organizations as needed.
• Define, manage, and maintain the roadmap for your designated product area(s).
• Assist the Pre-Sales/Sales team in crafting, reviewing, and managing bid responses, sales proposals, and quotations as required.
• Create and deliver presentations for both customer and internal audiences.
• Support activities related to product launches.
• Proven experience in UK Social Housing, whether as a customer or a software solution provider.
• Background in repairs within the social housing sector.
• Strong understanding of project life-cycle, methodologies, and successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in gathering requirements, defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.
• Familiarity with housing management systems or related software.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and comprehend client perspectives.
• Effective time management and resource allocation skills.
• Strong decision-making capabilities.
• Full, valid UK/EC driving license for travel purposes.
• Experience in managing the end-to-end product life cycle.
• Background in designing digital solutions for the social housing sector, including mobile applications and web platforms.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma and JIRA.
