This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and delivers customer value.
• Define product features, encompassing scope, requirements, and expected outcomes.
• Balance the development of new features with enhancements to performance, architecture, quality improvements, and defect resolution.
• Prioritize backlog items based on customer impact, performance requirements, technical debt, and quality factors.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to estimate effort and evaluate delivery feasibility.
• Assess delivery velocity and team capacity to facilitate realistic planning and commitments.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate delivery timelines for features, technical upgrades, and defect resolution.
• Convert delivery timelines into actionable sprint plans.
• Modify sprint plans and roadmaps as work progresses or priorities change.
• Clearly communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership, sales, and operations teams.
• Prepare presentations suitable for executives that outline product strategies, options, dependencies, and recommendations.
• Offer clear alternatives with advantages and disadvantages when trade-off decisions are necessary.
• Act as a strong advocate for customers by integrating feedback and use cases.
• Facilitate productive cross-functional discussions and resolve conflicting priorities.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with all stakeholder groups.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in managing product backlogs, setting priorities, and delivering via sprint methodology.
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to convert business requirements into clear product specifications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Over 5 years of experience in agile development environments (preferred).
• Experience or expertise with software or technical products in the Wastewater industry (preferred).
