This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop a deep understanding of Airbnb within your market or region by engaging in user research, analyzing marketplace data, and gaining insights into the competitive landscape, while synthesizing input for a cohesive product story from various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other functional leaders in your market or region to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airbnb products and new ventures.
• Apply best-in-class practices for product development and management.
• Create and maintain a product feature and roadmap prioritization plan in partnership with local teams.
• Champion and implement new products that generate significant impact for both the business and users.
• Communicate effectively and influence outcomes at all levels within the organization, including country and regional executive teams.
• Ensure alignment among product teams (Technology, Design) and essential cross-functional partners (Business, Supply, FP&A, Marketing, Global Operations, Customer Support, Trust, etc.) to prioritize initiatives for broader rollout or pilot testing.
• Establish goals and success metrics with clearly defined objectives and key results for your area.
• Form and seamlessly integrate partnerships within your country or region that enhance existing businesses and foster new development.
• Navigate regulatory and governmental requirements in collaboration with Policy/Communications and regional teams.
• Develop the product narrative and marketing strategies that clearly convey the benefits and features of our products, both internally and externally, in collaboration with communications and other cross-functional partners.
• Create and present compelling product demonstrations to the press, highlighting key features and functionalities.
• 8-12 years of experience in product management.
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional European language (strong preference for Spanish, French, or German).
• Proven track record in product leadership.
• Comfortable performing individual contributor responsibilities in product management.
• Successful history of building and scaling global consumer products and ecosystems that resonate with users.
• Experience in crafting product messaging and delivering it to customers and the media.
• An entrepreneurial background with a capability to transform ideas into reality—startup experience is a plus, along with the ability to operate within a larger organization.
• Proficient in utilizing data and conducting business analysis to inform product strategy and decisions.
• Able to drive execution across teams in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Highly collaborative and results-driven.
• Willing to travel at least 25% of the time.
