Product Manager, API Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold a comprehensive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the API platform.

• Gather and interpret feedback to convert it into actionable product features.

• Craft a public and developer-centric messaging narrative for the API platform.

• Collaborate with product teams and cross-functional partners for alignment.

• Establish partnerships emphasizing both supply and demand aspects.

• Exemplify behaviors that foster open communication and curiosity.

• Make informed judgments and prioritization choices that serve our users' best interests.

• Execute efficiently to launch products and generate positive impacts for our business and users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing.

• At least 3 years of product management experience focused on designing and developing developer platforms.

• A strong passion for enhancing developer productivity, product quality, and automating/optimizing workflows.

• Proven empathy for key developer challenges and a history of leadership in creating products for developers.

• Experience in cultivating strategic relationships with partner executives, senior management, and technical personnel to meet business objectives.

• Background in developing product messaging and communicating effectively with customers and the media.

• Established inbound and subject matter expertise.

• Ability to craft engaging customer-focused narratives and collaborate with marketing and communications teams to bring them to fruition.

• Proven record of product leadership in a cross-functional setting.

• Entrepreneurial experience in transforming ideas into reality and guiding teams through changing environments.

• Strong aptitude for utilizing data and conducting business analysis to inform product strategy and decisions.

• Eager to drive execution across teams in a fast-paced atmosphere.

• Enjoys engaging in individual contributor product management tasks and attending to details.

• Willingness and capability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
