This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the API-as-a-product program, collaborating with stakeholders from engineering, commercial, and customer teams to define, validate, and iteratively enhance it.
• Establish and steer the roadmap for role-based access control (RBAC), OAuth/SSO, and audit logging functionalities.
• Ensure that the IAM scope extends to include AI agents, along with the necessary security and auditing measures.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to implement a self-service IAM/RBAC setup for APIs, AI agents, and customers.
• Create and maintain a cohesive framework for API definition and management across three levels: internal domain APIs, cross-NSEC internal APIs, and external APIs for customers, brokers, and third parties.
• Make evidence-based prioritization choices by estimating the effort and value of roadmap items using AI-powered estimation tools, and transparently communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Define and monitor key product outcomes by implementing dashboards for real-time performance visibility and leveraging data to foster continuous improvement.
• Cultivate long-term stakeholder relationships by executing communication strategies and effectively influencing to achieve alignment and desired outcomes.
• Proven experience in owning and delivering a platform or infrastructure product in its entirety, preferably encompassing API management, developer tooling, or IAM.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts (RBAC, OAuth, SSO, audit logging) to make credible product decisions in collaboration with engineering and security teams.
• Demonstrated experience in managing identity/access or security product initiatives (such as API gateway IAM, SSO migrations, RBAC frameworks, or similar).
• Capability to make independent, data-informed product decisions and articulate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships, including senior commercial partners.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining a product roadmap aligned with strategy and outcomes.
• Experience in energy, utility tech, SaaS, or platform-based product environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with API management tools, experimentation platforms, and AI productivity tools is advantageous.
