Product Management Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the Domain Vision & Strategy: Oversee the comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the Contract Management area, covering ingestion, authoring, negotiation, execution, and post-signature management. Determine how contract data evolves into a strategic system of record and insight across Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Risk, and Finance.

• Address Complex Customer Challenges: Collaborate closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify real-world issues and convert them into clear, prioritized product deliverables. Balance usability, governance, flexibility, and automation to satisfy the requirements of legal, procurement, finance, and business teams.

• Foster Cross-Product & Executive Alignment: Ensure that Contract Management is thoroughly aligned with Coupa’s overarching platform strategy and business objectives.

• Collaborate Intensively with Engineering: Work with architects, engineering leaders, and QA to establish high-quality requirements, user stories, and success metrics. Guide intricate technical projects involving AI, data extraction, analytics, workflow orchestration, and integrations—while maintaining reliability and scalability.

• Spearhead Go-To-Market & Adoption: Collaborate with Product Marketing to outline positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonates with executives, practitioners, and buyers. Serve as a product advocate, delivering engaging customer briefings, roadmap presentations, and industry thought leadership.

• Stay Ahead of Market Trends: Consistently evaluate the competitive environment, regulatory developments, and customer maturity to ensure Coupa’s Contract Management solution remains top-tier.

• Demonstrated Product Leadership: Proven track record in managing an entire product life cycle and advancing a business domain through vision and execution.

• Extensive Technical & Domain Knowledge: Comfortable collaborating with engineers on complex subjects, including AI-driven extraction, analytics, integrations, and workflow automation. Strong comprehension of procurement, contract lifecycle management, compliance, and enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Outstanding Influence & Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present a compelling product vision to engineers, executives, customers, and partners.

• Customer-Focused Mindset: Enthusiasm for developing products that address genuine business challenges and deliver measurable value at scale.
