Product Linguist, German to Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute high-quality translation, MTPE, and copy editing tasks while following client-specific guidelines and deadlines.

• Ensure precise and culturally relevant localization of technical materials related to automotive and commercial vehicles, including high-voltage systems, vehicle operations, and safety guidelines.

• Validate and implement adjustments for QA check reports, in accordance with designated terminology and style guides.

• Perform terminology and TM updates within the client’s CAT tools (Trados Studio 2019 or higher, and Phrase in the future).

• Address linguistic inquiries promptly, offering clear explanations and ensuring project consistency.

• Deliver timely, high-quality output while maintaining open lines of communication with the project team.

• Conduct effective post-editing of machine-translated content, ensuring results are polished and aligned with the original material.

• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain linguistic quality and foster continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education in Translation, Linguistics, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficiency in **German** (C2 level) and native-level fluency in **Spanish** (es-ES).

• Experience in automotive, electric vehicles, and technical content localization.

• Familiarity with CAT tools.

• Strong skills in MTPE, terminology management, and QA validation.

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
