Product Lifecycle Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain customizations, integrations, and enhancements on the Windchill PLM platform.

• Collaborate with PLM functional consultants and engineering stakeholders to convert manufacturing and product lifecycle needs into Windchill solutions.

• Work alongside product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.

• Transform unclear requirements into well-engineered solutions.

• Perform code and design reviews.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Deliver production-ready work.

• Troubleshoot issues and document solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Over 5 years of experience in PTC Windchill development.

• Extensive hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API.

• Strong experience with workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules.

• Familiarity with Info*Engine and Windchill integration patterns.

• Practical experience with JSP/HTML client customization.

• Proficient SQL skills and understanding of the Windchill data model.

• Experience with Windchill upgrades and migrations.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and documentation abilities.

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management proficiency.

• PTC Windchill certifications are preferred.

• Experience with Creo, Arbortext, or other related PTC products is a plus.

• Exposure to Windchill RV&S (Integrity) or ThingWorx integration is preferred.

• Familiarity with CAD data management workflows is desirable.

• Experience operating Windchill on cloud platforms is preferred.
