Product Lifecycle Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation of top-tier product portfolio management and governance practices within Castrol and the broader organization.

• Oversee and govern the entire Lubricants Product Portfolio.

• Ensure adherence to and continuously enhance the portfolio management process and established product standards.

• Monitor, sustain, and enhance product lifecycle management tools and key metrics.

• Advocate for the digital agenda in product portfolio governance and management.

• Conduct business analysis to generate insights and actionable recommendations aimed at reducing portfolio complexity and enhancing profitability.

• Collaborate with product managers and Performance Units to achieve complexity targets, meet profitability thresholds, and proactively manage end-of-life processes.

• Serve as the initial point of contact for portfolio inquiries and assist with access to data and tools.

• Oversee operational compliance across various markets, marketing functions, and businesses, leading corrective actions when deviations are identified.

• Assist in the preparation and facilitation of the monthly Product Decision Board for senior leaders and VPs.

• Lead special projects or interventions throughout the project portfolio, including processes and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Analytical experience with the capability to utilize analytics for problem-solving and decision-making.

• Experience in handling and analyzing large datasets, with proficiency in Power BI being desirable.

• Background in product management.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Experience in project management or prior project involvement.

• Practical experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.

• Ability to cultivate positive relationships and establish a global business network.

• Capacity to understand a complex global product portfolio and matrix organization.
