Product Leader – Dental Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead the database business category.

• Responsible for the success of the business category.

• Manage the profit and loss (P&L) for the business category; proactively analyze profitability, growth, and expenses; investigate unusual items while preparing monthly performance reports for management; collaborate with finance to plan and report annual and quarterly sales forecasts and profitability.

• Define and own objectives and key results (OKR) for the business category.

• Develop the business category strategy and ensure effective execution.

• Perform comprehensive market analysis and gather customer insights to identify opportunities, define target markets, and shape product strategies.

• Comprehend customer pain points, needs, and the competitive landscape.

• Establish buyer personas and develop a thorough understanding of customer journeys and experiences.

• Create and manage the product roadmap, collaborating cross-functionally to prioritize features and achieve business goals.

• Ensure product development aligns with business objectives and meets customer needs.

• Lead the formulation of clear product vision statements, value propositions, and positioning to distinguish from competitors.

• Develop essential software scopes that enhance service delivery and support from the Service Operations Team.

• Define product features and identify the right tools that improve service delivery and operational support from the Service Operations Team to offer a best-in-class service to clients.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of product features that are within scope and meet customer expectations.

• Provide direction on customer needs, feature prioritization, and product release schedules.

• Coordinate product launches, ensuring all teams are aligned and prepared for successful market entry.

• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and product performance data to continually refine product strategy and enhance outcomes.

• Assess product success and drive improvements in both product and processes.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to ensure our product offerings remain innovative and distinct.

• Develop and maintain competitive analysis and market intelligence to guide pricing, positioning, and market strategies.

• Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring product features and enhancements are driven by customer needs and insights.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers (both internal and external), ensuring ongoing alignment with their needs.

• Support operations teams in delivering services to eAssist customers.

• Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in Revenue Cycle Management and product leadership/product management is preferred.

• Experience in dental billing is a plus.

• Background in forecasting and product P&L is advantageous.

• Experience in developing a product roadmap is a plus.

• One year of dental office experience is preferred.

• At least one year of project coordination experience is a plus.

• Strong understanding of product strategy, product life cycle management, and market positioning.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams and senior leaders; effective interaction with senior management and key stakeholders.

• Ability to distill complex customer and market data into clear, actionable insights and product strategies.

• Exceptional planning and organizational skills and techniques.

• Capability to plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand available resources, develop timelines, budgets, and assign responsibilities.

• Advanced independent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Lead teams to achieve product objectives and address complex business challenges in innovative and effective ways.

• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive situations and documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must demonstrate enthusiasm for identifying and implementing process improvements.

• Ability to create and deliver high-level presentations to senior management.

• Proficient computer skills, including the ability to utilize all G Suite applications such as Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Docs; intermediate competency with Google Sheets or Excel.
