This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the platform roadmap: define and prioritize investments across mobile platforms, web platforms, design systems, and their supporting capabilities, ensuring a clear rationale for prioritization that connects to developer velocity, member experience quality, and business outcomes.
• Drive the technical strategy in collaboration with engineering: work alongside senior engineers and architects to shape the long-term direction of the platform, maintaining a solid perspective on architectural trade-offs, platform modernization, and decisions that influence either accelerated product velocity or increased technical debt, ensuring platform investments are sequenced to optimize their impact on product engineering teams.
• Advocate for developer experience: view internal engineering teams as your customers by establishing feedback loops, measuring developer velocity, and prioritizing tasks that minimize friction, speed up feature delivery, and enhance platform reliability across teams.
• Manage the design system product: collaborate with design and engineering to develop a scalable, accessible component library that enhances UX consistency and expedites cross-team delivery without causing bottlenecks.
• Oversee feature flagging and experimentation infrastructure: formulate the strategy and capabilities for how Teladoc Health safely tests, deploys, and retracts features at scale, fostering a high-velocity experimentation culture across consumer product teams.
• Develop and manage observability and performance frameworks: define the criteria for what constitutes a “healthy” mobile and web product, establish performance budgets and alerting standards, and ensure engineering teams have the necessary instrumentation to ship with confidence.
• Navigate intricate cross-functional stakeholder relationships: align platform investments with the priorities of consumer product, clinical, engineering leadership, and finance, advocating for foundational work in a roadmap environment that often prioritizes visible features.
• Communicate with clarity and conviction: convert complex technical details into business-relevant narratives for senior leadership and represent platform constraints and opportunities with credibility in strategic planning discussions.
• Over 10 years of product management experience, with extensive expertise in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling domains.
• Practical experience in mobile platform development (iOS and Android ecosystems) and web platform engineering, encompassing build systems, app architecture, performance optimization, and release infrastructure.
• Experience owning or contributing to developer-facing products such as design systems, feature flagging platforms, CI/CD tools, or internal SDKs; possessing strong instincts for what constitutes an exceptional developer experience.
• In-depth knowledge of observability, analytics instrumentation, and performance monitoring: capable of defining standards, assessing tooling, and collaborating with engineering to operationalize them.
• Strong technical fluency: able to engage meaningfully in architectural discussions, evaluate build vs. buy decisions, and hold your own in conversations with principal engineers and engineering leadership.
• Proven ability to advocate for platform investments in roadmap environments that prioritize product feature work, including linking platform health to business outcomes and developer velocity metrics.
• Experience in influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams within matrixed organizations without formal authority.
• Flexible Vacation Policy
• 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually
