This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• In the role of Product Consultant (Manager), you will assume a leadership position across one or more multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams.
• You will be responsible for the complete backlog of a product, ensuring its overall quality and development maturity.
• You will guide the business analysts and product consultants involved in your project, making sure that the processes for gathering and prioritizing requirements are functioning effectively.
• You will actively seek out commercial opportunities and take a leading role in negotiations at the product level.
• You will support engagement with stakeholders at both the product and program levels, securing their support and managing their expectations.
• You will serve as a prominent leader within the consulting capability, overseeing the delivery of consulting initiatives.
• Additionally, you will manage, coach, and develop a small team, with an emphasis on performance management.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that the processes for gathering, refining, and prioritizing requirements are effective.
• You will own the complete product backlog and take responsibility for the quality and maturity of user stories.
• Experience in creating goal-oriented roadmaps, securing stakeholder buy-in, and focusing on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is essential.
• Proven experience in collaboratively breaking down goals into smaller, value-delivering tasks.
• Experience in leading product teams to ensure that the product vision and objectives are clearly understood, allowing the team to manage scope effectively.
• Experience in shaping strategies during various phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, acceptance, launch, and live operations.
• A proven track record of leading and providing direction, while promoting effective product management practices across one or more agile teams.
• Actively fosters relationships with stakeholders at both product and program levels.
• Experience in implementing suitable tools, standards, and techniques for business analysis and requirement gathering, ensuring appropriate buy-in from internal teams and clients.
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders, mediating conflicting perspectives and obtaining support for new initiatives.
• Responsible for collaborating with delivery leads and solution architects to manage scope within commercial constraints, such as budget limits or project timelines.
• Strong commercial insight and active involvement in revenue or sales-generating activities.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of relevant technologies and architectural concepts.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring clients and colleagues in agile methodologies and best practices.
