Product Installation Engineer – 90% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in the installation of new tools at customer locations, requiring minimal guidance from managers.

• Adhere to all procedures to deliver consistent results within designated Cycle Times, while exercising judgment based on generally defined practices and policies.

• Ensure readiness for predictable production.

• Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues during installations, utilizing standard procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and best-known methods to address problems with multiple causes.

• Recognize when to escalate issues and maintain clear communication by providing all relevant actions and data to obtain necessary assistance.

• Fully manage installation-related administrative tasks, including the preparation of field service reports and daily updates on installation progress and non-conformances.

• Contribute to the post-activity Quality Feedback Report.

• Secure all required international travel documents and effectively manage personal commitments to facilitate travel for extended durations.

• Oversee personal finances to avoid disruptions to scheduled activities.

• Travel 80 - 90% of the time, domestically and internationally, using commercial transportation to reach customer sites.

• Provide support to junior engineers as needed.

• Offer guidance and technical assistance at customer sites.

• Capable of developing basic Plans of Action (POAs).

• Deliver both phone and on-site support for junior engineers.
