This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategy and roadmap for the entire customer journey, encompassing activation, engagement, retention, referral, and reactivation through in-product experiences and lifecycle messaging (email, push, in-app, SMS).
• Establish the north star and key metrics for growth and lifecycle, continually optimizing for quantifiable, incremental revenue, retention, and LTV improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Marketing to deliver growth and lifecycle initiatives as premier product investments rather than isolated campaigns.
• Identify and prioritize the most impactful opportunities throughout the funnel, sequencing initiatives between in-product modifications, lifecycle programs, and acquisition/conversion touchpoints.
• Review and enhance existing lifecycle programs across email, push, in-app, and SMS messaging to boost onboarding, engagement, retention, cross-selling, and reactivation efforts.
• Create and scale event-driven, behavior-triggered lifecycle programs that are seamlessly integrated with product events and user states.
• Develop and maintain a modular email design system/component library, utilizing AI tools to enhance speed and quality.
• Formulate segmentation and personalization strategies throughout the lifecycle, based on user behavior and anticipated value.
• Manage conversion rate optimization for web/app acquisition flows, onboarding processes, lifecycle messaging, and significant in-product interactions.
• Establish the experimentation framework: hypothesis development, prioritization, test design, sample sizing, reporting, and documentation of insights.
• Create a sustainable backlog of growth experiments, ensuring that learnings accumulate across the team.
• Investigate and implement AI-powered workflows and proactive messaging agents to enhance personalization, cross-selling, product discovery, and re-engagement.
• Leverage AI to expedite research, segmentation, copywriting, creative iteration, and analysis, treating it as a fundamental capability rather than a trend.
• Expand the potential of a small growth and lifecycle team by integrating AI deeply into the workflow.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure that growth and lifecycle efforts are integrated into the core product surface area.
• Collaborate with Engineering to accurately instrument events, define metrics, and establish the analytical framework required for the function.
• Coordinate with Design, CX, and Marketing to ensure consistency in messaging, brand identity, and customer-facing voice.
• A minimum of 4 years or equivalent experience in product management, growth, conversion rate optimization (CRO), or lifecycle/CRM roles within a fast-paced consumer or fintech environment.
• Proven history of delivering measurable outcomes across activation, retention, monetization, or reactivation efforts.
• Strong product acumen: adept at navigating between strategy, roadmap development, specification writing, and hands-on execution.
• Proficient with event-driven systems, product analytics tools, and contemporary lifecycle/CRM platforms.
• Intermediate SQL skills and confidence in designing and interpreting experiments.
• Technically inquisitive: comfortable with HTML-based email systems, component-driven frameworks, and eager to learn rapidly.
• Excellent written communication skills - capable of producing clear specifications, customer-facing copy, and concise experiment reports.
• Bonus: experience in managing or contributing to marketing automation transitions or significant tool upgrades.
