Product Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with operational partners to comprehend workflows and constraints, transforming them into defined, executable solutions.

• Take ownership of features from start to finish, encompassing data modeling, backend, frontend, deployment, instrumentation, and post-launch revisions.

• Develop capabilities powered by GenAI, including integrations with LLMs, agents, RAG, and workflow automation.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as coding agents and AI code reviews.

• Make sensible trade-offs by delivering smaller increments, measuring outcomes, and iterating.

• Ensure reliability through rigorous testing, code reviews, production support, and addressing technical debt.

• Clearly communicate progress, trade-offs, and scope decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

• At the Senior level, lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects and mentor fellow engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of industry experience.

• Proficient in full-stack development: backend (preferably Python/Django) and frontend (preferably React; Angular or Vue are also acceptable).

• Strong SQL skills and data modeling expertise.

• Practical experience with a major cloud platform (preferably GCP; AWS or Azure are also acceptable), including deployment, operation, and debugging of services.

• Hands-on experience with GenAI, having developed at least one feature or tool using LLM APIs, including prompting, tool usage, retrieval, or evaluation.

• Regular use of AI coding tools in daily tasks.

• Proven history of delivering products from inception to completion, including gathering requirements from business or operational users directly.

• Ability to communicate clearly and directly with non-engineers.

• Must reside in and have authorization to work in India.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Canvas, is advantageous.

• Knowledge of BigQuery, analytics pipelines, or event instrumentation (e.g., Segment) is beneficial.

• Familiarity with agent frameworks or MCP is a plus.

• Experience in refactoring complex systems or breaking down monolithic architectures is desirable.
