Product Engineer – Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from inception to deployment and iteration.

• Collaborate across the technology stack, encompassing user interfaces, API surfaces, data models, and background processes.

• Transform comprehensive, structured insurance data into user-friendly interfaces for brokers, lenders, and underwriters.

• Establish requirements and dependencies for related teams.

• Leverage AI tools extensively to enhance the volume of deliveries.

• Participate in the assessment and benchmarking of models that manage customer data.

• Apply product judgment by questioning requirements, suggesting simpler alternatives, and phasing out ineffective features.

• Lead a team responsible for a segment of Advocate’s platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in developing production web applications.

• Proficient, daily use of AI tools (such as Codex, Claude Code, and agentic workflows).

• Comfortable navigating the entire development stack.

• Experience with data-intensive products, including dashboards, analytics tools, pricing platforms, and complex internal tools.

• Strong product intuition with a focus on delivering results.

• A passion for resolving product challenges.

• Ability to work independently within a small team environment.

• Familiarity with insurance, financial services, or any regulated, data-rich industry is a plus.

• Experience with real-time data, indexing, or benchmarking products is advantageous.

• Background in early-stage environments where multiple roles were undertaken is beneficial.

• Interest in market dynamics and pricing transparency is a plus.
