Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Create dependable and scalable applications that align with client and business objectives

• Engage in the research, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment phases of software applications

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and facilitate system integration

• Perform technical analysis and design for application modules and databases

• Ensure that developed modules adhere to architectural standards, coding guidelines, and quality benchmarks

• Take part in client meetings, requirements-gathering sessions, solution presentations, and technical workshops

• Assist in project delivery and system integration efforts

• Report directly to the Head of Software Development

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, system design, and application support

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular

• Expertise in PHP and MySQL

• Familiarity or experience with C# and .NET technologies

• Practical experience in designing, developing, documenting, testing, and supporting RESTful APIs utilizing XML/JSON

• Experience in designing, implementing, and securing solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Proficiency with CodeIgniter and MVC architecture

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SCRUM, Software Development Life Cycle, and software design principles

• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
