Product Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage stakeholder relationships with Medbridge’s executive team, collaborating with them to identify issues and AI-driven solutions that can accelerate or eliminate current business obstacles.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-enhanced features across our internal teams, encompassing everything from the user interface to backend services and the AI workflows that support them.

• Create full-stack applications utilizing AI-native engineering workflows and tools like Claude, Cursor, Codex, as well as OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.

• Develop APIs, backend services, and automation pipelines that enable intelligent product functionalities and support production-ready deployments.

• Implement software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps best practices for the testing, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and optimization of AI solutions.

• Collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams to transform ambiguous objectives into scalable internal products.

• Leverage AI tools throughout your workflow (including coding, code review, testing, and planning) and drive the team's adoption of these technologies.

• Investigate emerging AI technologies, LLM implementation strategies, and contemporary product engineering frameworks, and share effective practices with the team.

• Monitor the impact of your deliverables and utilize usage data and insights to inform decisions on what to build, enhance, or discontinue.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software engineering, product engineering, or full-stack application development.

• Practical experience in delivering real AI-powered applications in production using technologies such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable AI development platforms.

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs: prompt engineering, AI agents, generative AI workflows, or RAG architectures.

• Strong foundational knowledge in full-stack development with proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, along with a proven history of building and deploying production-quality applications.

• A product-oriented mindset: you consider who the user is and what their actual needs are before coding, and you challenge solutions that miss the mark.

• A focus on delivering and learning rather than excessive planning, combined with the ability to discern when additional care is needed.

• A genuine passion for utilizing AI to enhance productivity and efficiency, along with the insight to recognize its appropriate applications.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can articulate a tradeoff to both engineers and non-engineers effectively.

• Comfort with ambiguity and a history of taking ownership of outcomes, not merely tasks.
