This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Take ownership of the Public Sector product vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap.
• Ensure alignment of the public sector roadmap with Unit4's platform strategy and commercial growth objectives.
• Manage a prioritized product backlog with dedicated engineering resources.
• Establish outcomes, success metrics, release plans, and quality standards.
• Monitor adoption, usage, and customer impact post-launch.
• Act as the internal expert on the Public Sector vertical.
• Provide support to product, marketing, analyst relations, and pre-sales teams with industry knowledge.
• Convert sector insights into product requirements, opportunity assessments, and decisions between building or partnering.
• Develop industry-specific solution blueprints, reference configurations, and pre-built templates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, HR, procurement, and operations.
• Partner on launch readiness, pricing strategies, packaging, and field enablement.
• Engage with strategic customers and the Public Sector Industry Board to validate roadmap direction and co-create innovations.
• Ensure the roadmap reflects regulatory, security, accessibility, and localization requirements.
• Keep abreast of competitors, including Civica, Visma, Centric, and CGI.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance the value proposition for public sector clients.
• Demonstrated product management experience in developing enterprise software, ERP, or enterprise SaaS for public sector entities.
• Experience in creating products for municipalities, local authorities, or specialized agencies.
• Successfully launched products utilized by public sector finance and operations teams.
• Extensive knowledge of public finance management, public sector accounting, and government budgeting practices.
• Familiarity with public procurement frameworks and ERP requirements, including approval workflows, audit trails, supplier management, and contract compliance.
• Understanding of government security, data residency, and audit expectations for cloud ERP solutions.
• Informed perspective on responsible AI practices for public sector organizations.
• Commercially oriented with an understanding of ARR, win rates, and customer retention metrics.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with senior finance, ICT, and public service leaders.
• Experience in product management within enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Profound understanding of professional services business models, including project-based delivery, utilization, billing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Capability to influence stakeholders without direct authority in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to translate complex industry requirements into scalable product solutions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience with ERP or PSA platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with mid-market services firms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AI-driven or data-intensive product environments is desirable.
