Product Director – Innovation, New Ventures

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the portfolio for new product initiatives: determine what projects the team will pursue, organize the workflow, and decide on what progresses and what should be halted.

• Recruit, lead, and develop product managers while establishing high standards for the profession.

• Set the strategic direction for product development, leveraging insights from customers, market trends, and team discoveries.

• Manage the commercial results of the portfolio, including pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategies, and win rates.

• Ensure accountability for outcomes across the portfolio, focusing on adoption rates, usage statistics, and customer impact.

• Secure the necessary development resources and maintain delivery standards throughout the portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing products within accounting or financial management software, FP&A and planning software, HR or recruiting solutions, or project and professional services management.

• You have successfully launched products that are utilized in these sectors.

• You possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire product lifecycle and have experience in leading and mentoring product managers.

• Strong knowledge of the operational dynamics of mid-market services organizations' back office functions.

• Awareness that product decisions significantly influence ARR, win rates, and customer retention.
