Product Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee all product development projects from the initial concept phase through to successful launch, ensuring considerations for feasibility, cost, quality, and adherence to brand standards.

• Evaluate market trends, trade, retail, and consumer requirements, translating them into actionable product strategies and development initiatives.

• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on all product-related issues, offering expertise for informed decision-making.

• Foster communication and collaboration with suppliers to build strong partnerships and ensure seamless project execution.

• Examine customer feedback and product data to identify trends, uncover optimization opportunities, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: You possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product management or product development, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods sector.

• Supplier & Stakeholder Management: You have a background in collaborating with suppliers and internal teams, can articulate requirements clearly, and actively nurture relationships.

• Negotiation Skills: You confidently advocate for interests with both internal and external partners, seeking balanced solutions.

• Project Management & Organization: You have a track record of managing complex development projects, are skilled with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp), and implement processes in an organized manner.

• Analytical Thinking: You leverage data and metrics (e.g., Excel, BI tools) to inform decisions, evaluate risks, and drive projects to successful completion.

• Communication & Cross-functional Collaboration: You collaborate closely with diverse departments, advising stakeholders with considerable expertise and ensuring clear communication flows.

• Problem Solving: You proactively identify challenges, assess potential solutions pragmatically, and make informed decisions even in dynamic environments.

• Ideation & Innovation: You contribute creative ideas to product development, embrace new concepts, and help ensure that products remain innovative, on-brand, and competitive.
