Product Development Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and enhance third-party datasets to evaluate their quality, business value, and possible applications.

• Establish key inquiries, success metrics, and analytical frameworks for open-ended projects.

• Perform quantitative analyses and convert findings into actionable insights.

• Assist in the creation and enhancement of new products, datasets, and data-driven initiatives.

• Collaborate with other analysts to plan, develop, and implement complex projects.

• Focus on high-impact opportunities and advance progress with as much independence as feasible.

• Investigate new use cases, methodologies, and applications for datasets and products.

• Utilize AI tools, LLMs, and automation to enhance research, analysis, and productivity.

• Contribute to team knowledge, tools, and operational efficiency.

• Work collaboratively across engineering, partnerships, product, and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, data science, alternative data, or a related area.

• Proficient in SQL and/or PySpark.

• Comfortable handling large datasets.

• Familiarity with modern data platforms like Databricks.

• Capable of translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and insights.

• Strong judgment and ability to utilize data to back recommendations and decision-making.

• Proficient in using AI tools and LLMs while exercising independent critical thinking.

• Comfortable working in open-ended environments with significant ownership and autonomy.

• Clear communication skills and effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and business teams.

• A curious and experimental mindset.

• Expected availability during East/West Coast/etc. work hours.

• Must not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.
