This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +12 more states.
• Develops user experiences for clearly defined projects with guidance. Engages in sprints, produces wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes, and collaborates with the team to adhere to best practices.
• Takes ownership of design deliverables for intricate projects with limited supervision. Creates UI/UX solutions, carries out user research, refines designs based on feedback, and mentors junior designers.
• Produces “case-study worthy” experiences. Articulates and conveys business value, anticipates challenges, enhances team processes, and provides coaching to fellow designers.
• Manages design initiatives from start to finish. Leads workshops, addresses complex design issues, ensures high-quality deliverables, and fosters innovation throughout projects.
• Supervises multiple design initiatives. Guarantees consistent quality, guides teams, identifies training needs, and supports design delivery at the portfolio level.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design, UX/UI, human-centered design, or a related discipline. Experience in Agile or software delivery environments is preferred.
• Expertise in UX/UI design principles, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Capability to convert business objectives and user requirements into intuitive, functional, and visually appealing designs. Proficient in identifying user pain points, suggesting innovative solutions, and iterating based on feedback.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Able to present design rationale in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects, iterations, and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Experience in participating in or facilitating Agile rituals is a plus.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks or design handoff processes to engineering teams is advantageous.
