Product Designer – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Contribute to a crucial aspect of a bank's digital experience: Authentication, Security, and Access.

• Tasked with simplifying intricate subjects in security, digital identity, and authentication into user-friendly and trustworthy experiences for millions, while balancing business, technology, regulatory, and user experience requirements.

• Oversee comprehensive design initiatives, from initial discovery through to delivery and the ongoing enhancement of solutions.

• Design and organize journeys, flows, and experiences related to authentication, login, biometrics, account recovery, trusted devices, identity verification, and digital security.

• Work in close collaboration with Product Managers, Tech Leads, Engineering, Information Security, and other stakeholders to formulate strategies and prioritize opportunities.

• Execute Discovery processes to pinpoint issues, hypotheses, and areas for enhancement.

• Develop flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications utilizing Figma.

• Organize and carry out usability tests and other user validation techniques.

• Leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to guide design choices.

• Maintain alignment with the Design System and the organization's experience patterns.

• Engage in agile rituals, refinement sessions, workshops, and strategic meetings.

• Present solutions and advocate for design decisions at various levels within the organization, including executive leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Product Designer working on sophisticated digital products.

• Background in high-scale environments, ideally within fintechs, banks, insurers, or tech firms.

• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams alongside Product and Engineering.

• Proficient in Figma.

• Expertise in constructing complex flows and information architectures.

• Strong skills in interaction design and user experience.

• Ability to create medium- and high-fidelity prototypes.

• Experience in planning and conducting usability tests.

• Familiarity with experience and product metrics.

• Knowledge of Design Systems.

• Experience with Discovery frameworks and hypothesis testing.

• Understanding of accessibility and digital security best practices.

• Differentiators:

• Experience with authentication products, digital identity, biometrics, or security.

• Knowledge of Open Finance, LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law), and regulations in the financial sector.

• Experience in conducting user behavior research.

• Familiarity with metrics such as NPS, CES, Task Success Rate, SUM, and digital product indicators.

• Involvement in the development or governance of Design Systems.
