Product Designer, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions alongside technical and product teams, converting insights into shared, actionable artifacts.

• Create user journeys and interfaces for a B2C product featuring multiple user profiles and intricate business rules.

• Organize and oversee the project's knowledge base, which includes technical mappings (endpoints, APIs, limitations), design definitions (components, states, behaviors, edge cases), and business context.

• Convert requirements and technical limitations into design choices, negotiating the scope with engineering when the optimal solution does not align with the timeline or architecture.

• Engage in client interactions: present proposals, support decisions with clear justifications, and incorporate changes while maintaining product consistency.

• Ensure the design system and patterns remain consistent, confirming that new journeys align with existing elements in production.

• Manage your own workstream in open-scope environments, setting priorities and adjusting plans as the project progresses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in digital product design, from discovery to delivery.

• Expertise in design and prototyping tools, including the development and maintenance of component libraries.

• Capability to document decisions, business rules, and behaviors in a systematic manner.

• Experience working closely with engineering, with an understanding of technical constraints and integrations.

• Background in agile teams delivering incrementally.

• Strong communication skills with various stakeholders: clients, product, and technology teams.

• Comfortable presenting and justifying design decisions with supporting rationale and evidence.

• Preferred: previous experience with large-scale products, ideally in the telecom or utilities sectors.

• Experience with projects heavily reliant on integrations and third-party APIs.

• Familiarity with contexts involving multiple user profiles and complex business rules.

• Knowledge of rapid prototyping and AI tools applied to the design process.

• Experience in creating and managing design systems.
