This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of the entire design process, from user flows to wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes.
• Create AI-driven experiences that transform complex functionalities into straightforward, reliable interactions.
• Utilize a hybrid workflow combining Figma and Claude Design to develop and refine screens, deliver production-ready UX/UI, and create clickable HTML prototypes.
• Design for local municipal government personnel and public applicant personas navigating intricate, multi-role workflows.
• Ensure that all touchpoints are accessible, consistent, and practical for real-world applications.
• Implement emerging design patterns, especially those associated with AI interactions.
• Lead and engage in user research, interviews, usability testing, and synthesis of findings.
• Collaborate with Product teams to validate concepts early and mitigate delivery risks.
• Contribute to and enhance the shared design system.
• Work alongside Engineering to ensure that components are feasible and that design intentions are maintained.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to progress ideas from inception to deployment.
• Present design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Influence the implementation of AI-assisted design methodologies at Clariti.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in product design.
• A portfolio showcasing strong UX principles and high-quality visual execution.
• Experience in designing products that incorporate AI as a fundamental aspect.
• Practical experience with Claude or similar LLMs as a design collaborator.
• Proficient in Figma and Claude Design, including the use of component libraries and prototyping.
• Robust end-to-end design capabilities covering information architecture, flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for web applications.
• Experience in leading or participating in user research and usability testing efforts.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly express design rationale and accept feedback constructively.
• Self-motivated and accountable, thriving in a fast-paced and uncertain environment.
• Comfortable operating in a remote-first setup.
• Candidates selected for the position must pass comprehensive background checks prior to joining.
