This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the complete design process for a specific product area — from problem identification to wireframes, prototypes, detailed specifications, quality assurance during delivery, and iterative improvements for enterprise workflows utilized by lease administrators, portfolio managers, and facilities teams.
• Conduct discovery sessions with enterprise clients — including interviews, usability assessments, and workflow observations — and convert insights into design choices that influence both functionality and aesthetics.
• Establish the foundational elements of a design system — recognize reusable design patterns, document components, and collaborate with the Director of Product Design and fellow designers to enhance the Tango Design System.
• Revamp outdated enterprise user experiences — redesign effective workflows that may be frustrating while adhering to existing constraints such as unchangeable data models, ingrained user habits, and migration paths that maintain production integrity.
• Create and test prototypes. Utilize AI-driven design and prototyping tools to develop coded prototypes for user testing and seamlessly integrate design artifacts into the development pipeline.
• Collaborate daily with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Customer Success teams. Articulate design rationale to non-designers. Stand up for user needs even in challenging situations. Employ AI-driven design tools as standard practice for research synthesis, design iteration, prototyping, and cross-team documentation.
• Over 4 years of experience in product design with a proven track record in complex B2B or enterprise products — involving multi-step, data-rich workflows across various user types and significant operational impacts.
• A portfolio demonstrating the design process, not just the final outcome — including research, problem framing, iterations, trade-offs, and results.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work with legacy systems — capable of defining problems without a brief, designing within imposed constraints, and making headway without perfect information.
• Strong capability for cross-functional collaboration — able to explain design choices to engineers and PMs in clear terms, substantiate positions with evidence, and adapt direction when new evidence emerges.
• Extensive experience in enterprise workflow design — preferably in lease administration, facilities management, project management, or related enterprise SaaS fields.
• Intuition for design systems — has identified design patterns, documented components, or contributed to a design system. Recognizes the importance of consistency across a product and possesses insights on achieving it.
• Proficient in Figma and comfortable using AI-based design tools for prototyping, research synthesis, and documentation.
• Knowledgeable about modern design methodologies: continuous discovery, usability testing, and data-driven iterations.
• Experience with internationalized products that cater to multiple languages and regional markets is an advantage.
• Competitive Compensation
• Comprehensive Benefits, encompassing health, dental, and vision insurance, along with generous paid time off to support your overall well-being.
• Flexible Work Environment — Whether remote, hybrid, or in-office, we promote work arrangements that enhance productivity and work-life balance.
• Inclusive & Collaborative Culture — We cultivate a workplace that values diverse perspectives, encourages teamwork, and ensures every voice is heard.
