Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for SmartAsset products, ranging from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups.

• Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes for product managers and engineers.

• Work in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to deliver refined user experiences.

• Implement best practices in usability and accessibility.

• Leverage analytics and A/B testing results to guide and enhance design iterations.

• Contribute to and uphold the shared design system and component library.

• Assist in user research and testing sessions, applying insights gained.

• Articulate design decisions and adapt based on feedback from the product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in UX/product design for web and/or mobile applications.

• A portfolio that showcases clean, functional interface designs and clear user flows.

• Proficiency in using Figma.

• Capability to follow design direction and integrate feedback from product managers, engineers, and senior designers.

• Strong understanding of UX and visual design principles, including hierarchy, layout, and accessibility fundamentals.

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

• Must be able to communicate effectively through phone calls and/or video conferences.
