Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire design process for the squad, encompassing discovery, stakeholder interviews, user research, data analysis, problem framing, solution exploration, and delivering refined UI.

• Create intricate workflows, including multi-country payroll approval procedures, contract modification processes, and compliance dashboards.

• Organize and facilitate user research, which includes conducting interviews, usability tests, and contextual inquiries.

• Collaborate with engineers during implementation, review staging builds, document specific issues, and recommend CSS adjustments.

• Advance the design system by contributing components, enhancing documentation, and fostering consistent design decisions.

• Champion accessibility and internationalization efforts, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, accommodating right-to-left languages, localizing date formats, and supporting variable-length translations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in designing digital products, with a minimum of 2 years focused on B2B or SaaS platforms.

• A portfolio that showcases problem framing, trade-off decisions, research insights, and performance after launch.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including scalable file structures, component naming conventions, and libraries.

• Familiarity with AI tools in the design process.

• Demonstrated experience in designing complex, data-intensive interfaces, such as dashboards, multi-step workflows, and forms.

• Capability to independently plan and lead user research, recruit participants, conduct sessions, and synthesize findings.

• Excellent communication skills for articulating design decisions to engineers, product managers, and executives.

• Bonus: Experience in HR-tech, payroll, fintech, or compliance-driven SaaS.

• Bonus: Knowledge of EOR, global payroll, or contractor management.

• Bonus: Experience in building or maintaining a design system.
