Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Design screens, workflows, and prototypes utilizing Figma, AI-assisted tools, or other effective methods.

• Convert briefs and directives into clean, precise, and high-fidelity user interfaces.

• Develop functional prototypes to validate concepts and express interaction intentions.

• Address empty, error, loading, and responsive states to ensure comprehensive engineering handoff.

• Refine designs based on feedback from design reviews.

• Consistently apply existing RegASK design system components.

• Contribute new components and variants as directed, adhering to naming conventions and documentation standards.

• Recognize inconsistencies or gaps in the design system and suggest improvements.

• Engage in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Organize design files with precise specifications, annotations, and interaction notes.

• Evaluate implemented user interfaces against designs during quality assurance.

• Collaborate with engineers regarding design implementation queries.

• Clearly communicate when there are conflicts in priorities or risks to timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in professional product or UX design within a SaaS or digital product setting.

• Strong expertise in Figma, encompassing components, auto-layout, variants, and prototyping.

• Proficient in utilizing AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to enhance your workflow.

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and the constraints of front-end development.

• A solid understanding of UX principles: user flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, and basic accessibility.

• Familiarity with SaaS products, enterprise tools, or compliance/regulatory software.

• Comfortable with data-rich interface patterns such as dashboards, tables, filters, and complex forms.

• Experience collaborating with an established, token-based design system.
