This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create digital product designs that include comprehensive mockups and documentation, adhering to user experience best practices and business objectives.
• Establish user experience patterns and design languages grounded in human behavior and recognized digital practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define product feature sets and overarching requirements based on user insights.
• Execute user research and gather competitive market analysis data.
• Develop user-centric personas and product workflows reflecting customer behavior.
• Partner with Engineering Team Leads and Developers to produce polished products and address usability inquiries.
• Serve as an approval layer during QA processes for design and user experience evaluations.
• Design interactive product prototypes and showcase them to senior leadership.
• Contribute to or generate UX copy and craft messaging focused on the user.
• Assess final UI assets and design systems to ensure consistency in product and brand.
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a Master's degree.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a related UX Designer or Software Engineer position.
• Strong leadership abilities and confidence in managing large-scale projects.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles and constraints, as well as iOS and Android mobile design.
• Knowledge of iterative development methodologies, including SCRUM and Agile.
• In-depth understanding of digital design principles and contemporary web and mobile design trends.
• Experience designing comprehensive mobile and web products from inception to development completion.
• Skills in innovation, creativity, design, and analysis.
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Jira, Principle, and After Effects is advantageous.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Certification in Human Factors is preferred.
